He was banging them in for Britain in a turquoise ‘number 10’ football shirt. Flanking the main man for Reform FC, was Vice Captain Richard Tice, and Club Chairman David Bull, while new Head of Policy Zia Yusuf schemed in midfield, and ‘Big’ Lee Anderson patrolled for (own) goals at the back.
A breathless monologue of rousing match commentary was piped in, courtesy of the notorious daytime TV agent provocateur Jeremy Kyle. Backing tracks of urban trap music and foot-thumping rock riffs made way for an all-action special appearance by the remaining members of the Jackson 5.
