Byline Times is marking two anniversaries this month.

Seven years since this newspaper first took shape. A decade since Peter Jukes and Stephen Colegrave took over the Byline crowdfunding site to hold the power of the British media to account.

What began as a response to the phone-hacking scandal and the ‘criminal media nexus’ revealed by the Daniel Morgan murder now sits on news-stands across the country.

Our reach has expanded beyond our dreams. But our purpose has not changed.
