Far-right former Trump advisor Steve Bannon and Jeffrey Epstein worked with Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage to “overthrow” Theresa May at the height of the 2018 Brexit crisis in the UK, newly released messages in the Epstein Files show.

The messages begin in the days after then Foreign Secretary Johnson’s resignation from May’s Government over her ‘Chequers Plan’ for Brexit in July 2018.

They show Bannon – who served as President Donald Trump’s White House Chief Strategist for the first seven months of his first administration in 2017 – detailing his attempt to help remove the then Conservative Prime Minister from office.
