Each week in our email newsletter, one of our editors and reporters provides readers with a snapshot of the most important stories that have broken or developed. We explain what they mean for the public, and show how current topics and themes intersect.
The tone of the newsletter is more conversational than the website, and gives an insight both into how our newsroom collaborates to report on vital issues, and how we put together the monthly Byline Times print edition newspaper, sifting four weeks’ worth of stories into a summary of the key events, and commissioning print-exclusive articles to provide more context and investigation.
The newsletter often gives useful recommendations for related stories covered in our podcast and on Byline TV, where guests and interviewees cross the political spectrum. In the run-up to the Byline Festival, we’ll also make sure discounts and offers are sent out to newsletter subscribers.
The newsletter is free, and sent out by email once a week. New subscribers to our newsletter will receive a code for one free edition of the paper to be posted to them.
