Jeffrey Epstein’s Russian ‘Tech Maidens’

As the scandal around the release of the Epstein Files continues to follow Donald Trump, Peter Jukes investigates the late sex offender’s ties to Vladimir Putin-linked individuals with a curious career trajectory

“As long as everyone is raising a hullaballoo about Jeffrey Epstein again, we should look at the most overlooked part of the saga: his ties to Russia.”

– Craig Unger, the author of American Kompromat

Ironically, just as the Trump administration attempts to deflect questions about the President’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein by launching a ‘Russia hoax’ investigation – into the origins of the FBI’s Trump-Russia inquiry – more evidence has come to light of Russian involvement in the finances and personnel of the now deceased billionaire sex offender and trafficker, who was a personal friend of Donald Trump for a number of years.

Given Epstein’s access to the mega-rich world of oligarchs and offshore investors, it is not surprising that there should have been Russians among them.

But, though many of Epstein’s rich associates dropped away after he pleaded guilty to state prostitution and other charges in 2007, his financial engagement with Russia and eastern Europe appeared to intensify.
