Trump Media has announced that GB News has been added to its roster of channels on Truth+, alongside far-right outlets Real America’s Voice, Newsmax, One America News Network, Patriot TV, and Lindell TV – which have disseminated the lie that Trump won the 2020 US Presidential Election and won admiration from the President for doing so.

Is this the next step in GB News’ plan to crack the ‘Make America Great Again’ crowd and cosy up to Donald Trump?

GB News has announced it will be launching a new nightly show on US politics. According to its CEO, Angelos Frangopoulos, “as the fearless champion of freedom of speech in Britain, it is important that we launch across the United States of America and globally on the Truth+ streaming platform … bringing to the world the real story of what is happening in the United Kingdom and celebrating her heritage, values, and potential”.

Trump Media’s CEO and chairman Devin Nunes said: “We welcome our good friends from across the pond, GB News, to the Truth+ platform. GB News is a terrific source for news, facts, and commentary … putting another dent in the global woke news monopoly.”
