“I think there’s a very high probability that Reform will implode between now and the General Election,” the party’s former Deputy Leader Ben Habib believes. “They can’t seem to go from one week to the next without a major slip-up, so how can they possibly run the country?”

Byline Times spoke to Habib in the wake of a series of political setbacks for Reform UK Leader Nigel Farage and his closest associates.

In the weeks before the interview, Farage became embroiled in a scandal involving Reform’s former Welsh Leader, Nathan Gill, who pleaded guilty to taking bribes as an MEP to advance pro-Russian talking points.

Editorial – Seeing the Light

In Brighton this month – where I was invited to speak about journalism, truth, and Byline Times – I sat down next to Charlie. He said he loved our work and, at one time, had been a subscriber to this monthly print edition. But the magazine, he told me, was just too dense for him; it left him feeling a bit depressed.
