Police Suggest Reform UK’s Darren Grimes Lied to Constituents Over Not Holding Local Surgeries
Durham police rejected the Reform UK Deputy Council Leader’s claim that they advised him not to meet his constituents due to security concerns. He also has other questions to answer. Josiah Mortimer reports

Reform UK’s Darren Grimes faces allegations that he lied to the residents he was elected to represent in May’s local elections, after he claimed police had advised him not to hold surgeries with his constituents – only for the police to inform Byline Times that this was untrue.

He asked Grimes: “Can you confirm surgery dates and any public meetings where this [issue] will be covered?”
