How Reform UK Councils Are Descending Into Chaos

Nigel Farage’s band of newly elected local councillors are already starting to struggle. Josiah Mortimer reports

There are now more than 800 Reform UK local councillors across England, with Nigel Farage’s party running 12 local authorities.

With much talk of Reform dominating the political landscape in the run-up to the next election, Byline Times has launched a dedicated stream of special reports to investigate what the party is doing now it has won power locally.

This will not only provide a snapshot of how any national-level responsibility may play out if Reform were to win a significant number of seats in Parliament in the years ahead, but offers a form of accountability that this newspaper believes is too often lacking when it comes to media coverage of Farage and Reform.
